We sponsor 2 popular ukulele groups in the Chicagoland area who meet once-a-month. Songbooks/handouts provided. Each group is run differently. See below.
Wonderwall's Ukulele Meetup Group meets on the first Tuesday each month at the Tiki Terrace Hawaiian Restaurant in Des Plaines. 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. $5 donation per person. Everyone plays and sings along, occasional solos from various attendees.
Ukulele Suburbia meets on the first Wednesday (or 2nd, depending on the week) at Wonderwall Music Shoppe - Showroom in Chicago Heights. 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. $10 fee. This is a more structured, class-like session. Learn various strum patterns, Hawaiian word pronounciations and more.
